Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of warranty is offered?
A mosquito and insect misting system designed to last a lifetime and a warranty to back it up. The warranty, however, will be terminated if MosquitoNix® Pyrethrum is not used in the system as damage could be caused by other insecticides. MosquitoNix® will provide a detailed instruction and maintenance manual that will help you to extend the life of your entire system, including nozzles, tubing and pump.
What does the 100% guarantee mean?
If you are not fully satisfied with the system within 30 days of installation, we will remove the system and give you a complete refund.
How often should I have the system go off?
Pay attention to the bugs and let them be your guide. Generally, after initial installation, you should set the MosquitoNix® system to activate 3-4 times a day for 20-45 seconds until you gain control of your yard (usually 2-3 weeks). As the number of mosquitos decreases, you may reset the system to mist just 2-3 times per day. Increase or decrease the number of sprays and the duration of the spray according the time of year and the number and concentration of mosquitos.
Is there any concern about possible run-off?
Pyrethrum is fully biodegradable; in addition, it is heavily diluted so that there is no concern about potential run-off.
